We install CCTV in houses, apartments, shops and warehouses. Here is what people usually ask about.
What does a security camera cost installed?
The price of a security camera depends on the number of cameras and whether they are wired with network cable or wireless. A single camera with installation starts at around SEK 7,700, and the price per camera drops quickly when several are fitted at the same time. You get a fixed price in a quote after a site visit.
Outdoors or indoors?
An outdoor security camera has to withstand rain, cold and darkness, so we always fit weather-rated cameras with good night images at the entrance, driveway and back of the house. An indoor security camera is smaller and more discreet, and is plenty for a hallway or shop. Most people want both. A small indoor security camera does not spoil the decor, and an outdoor security camera survives the winter. We choose a good-value security camera that lasts, not the most expensive one in the catalogue.
Can I view the camera on my phone?
Yes. You get a home security camera linked to your phone, with live view, recording and notifications when something moves. The same goes for an outdoor security camera linked to your phone. No extra monthly fee for the app. It also applies to a home security camera: you see the picture on your phone without paying for storage in someone else's cloud.
Wireless camera or cable?
A wireless outdoor camera is quicker to put up, but needs power and good WiFi all the way out. With network cable the camera gets both power and data through the same lead, which gives a more stable picture. We fit a wireless outdoor IP camera when cable cannot be run. Otherwise we recommend cable.
Do you do shops, warehouses and industrial sites?
Yes. A security camera in a shop is usually about the checkout line, entrance and stockroom door. For security cameras in industrial sites and larger warehouses we plan the coverage so that no blind spots appear between aisles and gates. We also help with signage and what GDPR requires.
Can the alarm and camera be linked?
Yes, and it is usually the smartest option. A burglar alarm with a camera means you get a picture of what triggered the alarm instead of just a signal. A burglar alarm with CCTV in the same system means you avoid two apps and two invoices.

Choosing cameras
Which security camera suits where?
The location decides, not the specification on the box.
Do I need a camera kit or individual cameras?
For a house it is usually an outdoor security camera kit with three to four units (entrance, driveway, back of the house and possibly the garage), because the price per camera drops when everything is cabled at the same time. If you only need to cover a front door, we fit a single camera and leave room for more.
Can we have a screen on site?
Yes. A security camera with a monitor in the hallway, at the till or in reception means you can see the picture straight away without picking up your phone. We set it up when someone needs to be able to check quickly. Otherwise your phone is enough and saves you a screen.
What do you do where there's no network?
Then we use a 4G camera with its own SIM card, for example at a holiday home or on a building site. You get the best results when the camera is mounted high, has a clear view and has power nearby, so you don't have to change the battery in the middle of winter.
